Nathan Heywood, also known as Citizen Steel, is a superhero from DC Comics. He first appeared in Justice Society of America Vol. 3 #1 (2007).
Nathan is the grandson of Commander Steel, a member of the World War II superhero team, the Justice Society of America. After sustaining severe injuries, Nathan's body was augmented with metallic implants by the villainous Professor Zoom, granting him superhuman strength and a steel-like exterior.
Initially struggling to control his powers and adapt to his new life, Nathan eventually embraced his destiny as a hero. He joined the Justice Society of America, adopting the moniker Citizen Steel and fighting alongside his grandfather's former teammates to protect the world.
